Setting Goals In MLM
by Aziz Jangbar

If you want to succeed in MLM or anything else, setting goals is one of the most important things you can do. In fact, we have to set goals for everything in our lives that is important to us, even if it has nothing to do with business.

If you are expecting to achieve success but not setting achievable goals, it's unlikely that youre going to have the success that you may want. But you want to be careful in setting your goals. Your goals should help you succeed and NOT set you up for failure.

If you set your goals too low, you wont live up to your full potential. They also need to be at a level that allows you to believe that youll be able to achieve them. For example, making $150,000 a year in MLM is a very realistic goal. But if you are currently earning $30,000 a year from a job, and you want to jump to making $150,000 within a year, that is NOT a realistic goal for YOU. At the same time, someone who is a full-time MLMer currently earning $100,000 a year, setting a goal to start earning $150,000 a year within a year for that person is a very realistic goal.

Setting unrealistic goals is going to get you frustrated, and you will end up quitting the business or at the very least having a chip on your shoulder that is going to hold you back for reaching any future goals.

When setting goals, keep this in mind that your goals should make you a little uncomfortable and force you to stretch, even scare you a little. But they should be believable, if you can't believe you can achieve your goals, then you probably won't be able to achieve them!

If youre having trouble figuring out what your goals should be, you might want to talk to other people who have had success in MLM. Ask them what a realistic goal would be for a month, 6 months and a year for you. Because they have been there and had the success youre looking for, they will be able to give you a realistic but still aggressive goal for yourself.

It is also important to mention here that all of your goals should NOT be about money. You need to also set activity goals. Sometimes the best way to track your success doesnt have anything to do with the dollar amount. Set goals for yourself of how many people youre going to talk to in a week. Or how many people youre going to have at the weekly local meetings, or how much time everyday you're going spend on social media connecting with people. Because when you are meeting all of your activity goals, the money will start to come in!

Now goals are good when you act on them! Just having your goals written down and visualizing your success and expecting the Law of Attraction to fulfill your dreams is going to do NOTHING for you UNTIL you ACT! Be honest with yourself, do the activities with full focus, don't try to cheat.

Write your goals down and keep them in a place where you will see them as often as possible. Maybe your bathroom mirror, your fridge, your car visor, right above your computer, whatever, get creative! Make great goals, and accomplish them every single week and you wont be able to keep the money from rolling in; it really is as simple as that!
